I started playing BARP BETA 3 2005-08-13 and the last time I was there was 2009-04-28.





Most stories of revenge begin with the destruction of a village and the death of family. Well, this is only half true for this tragic hero. For, his motivation for revenge is driven by something that runs far deeper than that.

All through growing up Sinisteria was treated as a mere slave by his parents. They did not love him, and they showed this by ever so often beating him within an inch of his life. A rage quickly arose in Sinisteria, a rage he had never felt before. He had the desire to slaughter anyone who had ever done him wrong, in the worst possible way he could. This urge sparked a recurring nightmare that went on for several years. This dream would always involve him going into his parents bedroom at night, and he killed them both. However he always managed to put this dream in the back of his mind.

He had lived out most of his days in solitude, until one day when his parent sent him to the market to acquire bread, he met someone. Someone whom was the same age as he (14 at the time), and went by the name of Darque. He and Sinisteria quickly became friends. They saw each other whenever they had the opportunity. He was so happy that even the dreams had stopped. Until one day, 3 years later, when his parents grew wise to what he was doing after catching a glimpse of Sinisteria saying goodbye to Darque on his way home from the market. They did not approve of this at all. The moment he walked in the door they questioned him about it and immediately forbid him to see Darque again. Otherwise they would have him killed. This didn’t go over too well with Sinisteria. How could he just abandon a dear friend?

That very night his recurring dream occurred, but it was more violent then it usually was. He awoke in a cold sweat. He knew that is was time. He stepped out of bed and slowly put on his robes. He then crept down the creaky corridor towards the bedroom where his parents lay. He cautiously nudged the door only a crack open and peered inside. His parents were fast asleep. So he gave a sigh of relief and finished opening the door, and tip-toed inside. He glanced around trying to figure out what to do next. When his gaze fell upon his fathers katana. The sword Abyssus,which had been passed down from generation to generation. He knew that his father never intended to pass it on to him, and this angered him more. So with more fuel for his anger he crept over to the mantle where the sword lay in its cradle, and carefully removed it. The shining of the blade spread across his face, and he felt nothing but pure joy. He now turned his attention back at the task on hand, his parents.

Now walking over to the bedside with a fearless grin upon his face. He quickly sliced across his fathers throat. Blood spraying everywhere, drenching him in his fathers stink. It was the most joyous thing he had ever done. Immediately his fathers eyes shot open, and his hands clung to his gaping throat. He was struggling for air, but getting none. After being sprayed in her husbands blood, his mother was also awake now. As she sat up in panic Sinisteria swiftly spun around and sliced her head clean off, spraying even more blood. Sinisteria then walked over to where his mothers severed head lay, and picked it up by the hair. Now laughing, he waved it in front of his fathers dying face. The eyes of his father widened in disbelief of what had just happened. Then he gave a gasp, and was gone.

Sinisteria glanced at his blood spattered self and laughed frantically. This was the happiest moment in his life. So he grabbed his fathers priceless sword and left the house and town forever. However, his hunger for revenge wasn’t satisfied, he had the desire to kill all who could ever dream of doing him injustice. He would need training.

When traveling through a new town he met up with a master in many arts of killing. The master agreed to take Sinisteria on as his pupil. So the training began.

He quickly became more knowledgeable than the master himself within a matter of years. Once he had learned everything he could, he became tired of the old fool. So one day he challenged him do a fight to the death, the master agreed. Sinisteria made quick work of the master, and killed him without mercy, without remorse.

From then on he wandered aimlessly until he met up with the love of his life, Sygh. They now travel the land of BARP together.

Abyssus
The katana that has been passed down generation to generation to those of Sinisteria’s bloodline. Only those that share the same bloodline as Sinisteria are capable of wielding it. In the event that someone picks up the sword that is not of his kin, the sword will become far too heavy to be handled. However, Sinisteria is the only remaining member of this bloodline, due to him slaughtering the others at a young age. Therefore it is eternally bound to him. It hath been blessed by a god, and is by far his most prized possession.

Circle of Shadows
Sinisteria fades into a shadow and begins to circle the opponent. The shadow rotates faster and faster until there are just flashes of black. Then the opponent is completely surrounded in impenetrable darkness. Sinisteria is now everywhere and anywhere around the opponent. He cannot be hit, nor detected in any way. When Sinisteria see’s fit he may allow any amount of his weapon to emerge that he desires. The shown portion of the weapon will be shrouded in darkness. This state is only sustainable for 3 well chosen attacks.


Twilight Strike
Sinisteria rapidly becomes darker and darker until he is just pure darkness. He then tilts his head back and looks towards the sky. He lets out a growl as a shadowed spike surrounded by lightning, shoots out of his chest at the speed of lightning. The spike tracks the opponent for approximately 200-300 ft. If the attack makes contact, it impales the subject whilst electricuting them.


Silhouette Doppelganger
Sinisteria bows his head and concentrates. He then crosses his arms over his chest and closes his eyes. A shadowy figure emerges from Sinisteria that is identical to him, but pitch black. The doppelganger has half the strength of Sinisteria, but twice the speed (being that he is a shadow being). Sinisteria can control the will of the doppelganger at any given time.


Sinful Stare
The eyes of Sinisteria become cloudy, and entrance the opponent. Once eye contact has been established, the opponent is forced into a catatonic state. They are now lost within their own mind and are rendered extemely vulnerable. They can do nothing but realize the evil within their own hearts...with a conscience.
