I first started playing BARP in May 2002. I was invited by Roulares (Eric Audet), the former owner of barponline.com, to become a creator with him. I used my programming skills to add improvements to the game engine.
In December 2007, I purchased the domain from Eric.
When I became a creator in BARP, I held a contest to name my character. The winning entry was “Fizban”.
As a fan of the DragonLance series of fantasy novels started by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman, this suggestion suited me. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dragonlance for more information about that series.
