Introduction
Four years after the war of Sekigahara, the name Demon Eyes Kyo, who slayed a thousand men, became a legend. He went from battlefield to battlefield only wielding his sword to prove that he was the strongest, but something fatal happened that very night four years ago.. and the man with red eyes suddenly dissapeared into the mist. Even so.. Demon Eyes Kyo lived on... inside the young warrior, Mibu Kyoshiro (also known as the wolf of Mibu). When Demon Eyes Kyo awoke within the young boy, the history that no one knew had begun...

Even though people know me by the name Demon Eyes Kyo, I have changed. For some reason I have returned to this earth and that reason is to me unknown. What I do know is that I'm not the same man as I used to be. I have left the life with war and bloodshed far behind and set my eyes on the future to come. I will no longer wield my sword for anyone else, except for me and those I love.



History
Kyo is the last real Mibu of the Mibu clan, and the last child born to it. There are no other real Mibu left. Kyo's real name is Mibu Kyoshiro. His parents assassinated right before his eyes at very young age. He still blames himself for not possessing enough strenght to save them back then and carries the two scars on his face as a reminder of that fateful night. The same night he left home aswell as all emotions...the pain was simply too much to bare. In addition to stripping himself of all emotions, he used a blindfold to shut all of the worlds injustice and cruelty out. Kyo later joined up with a mercenary group...living and travelling with them until he was old enough to fight himself. Soon he was to be known as Demon Eyes Kyo. The legend was told that no-one worthy of seeing his revealed eyes on the battlefield, lived to tell about it.

Even though he still being the same person...one believes his personality was spilt in half when his parents died and even up to this day there is a constant ongoing battle within him, between Kyoshiro and Demon Eyes.

Kyo's weapon is a Muramasa called Tenrou, which translates to Sky Wolf. Tenro is one of the Four Great Demon Blades that the swordsmith Muramasa forged. Its curve and cut are things of beauty. It is approximately five shaku (equivalent to five feet) long and it cannot be broken, cracked, bent, or dulled. It has no problem cutting through steel weapons or solid iron. Basically, it is an indestructible nodachi that only Kyo can wield (nodachi means field sword or large/great sword in japanese). It seems to have a mind of its own, and chooses the one who wields it. Apparently, it chose Kyo and seems to enjoy working with him. The only other who has been seen to wield Tenrou is Muramasa himself, Kyo's master during his travells. Inside Tenrou is the spirit of the First Aka no Ou, Kyo's direct ancestor.

Demon Eyes Kyo's sword style is the Mumyo Jinpu Ryu Satsujin Ken (The Sword of a Devilish Wind), which was taught to him by Muramasa, his master and the man who made Kyo's sword. It teaches not only how to wield and take ones life with a sword itself, but also how to master the wind. It was the most powerful sword-technique in the Mibu Clan and only a selected few managed to master it.
Most known attacks
* Mizuchi: An attack that uses the air to cut an opponent to pieces; a sub attack of Seiryu.
* Seiryu: More than a dozen Mizuchi are projected toward an opponent and surround him, eventually merging to create an immobilizing and destructive whirlwind that pulls the opponent in closer as the waiting Kyo awaits to deliver the final blow.
Note that these techniques also can be used as defence.
* Bloodlust: Building up a momentum due to his leg strenght combined with moving swiftly with the wind, Kyo is able to dash against his opponent in an incredible speed that surpasses most. within reach and at the very last moment he normally dashes to one of his opponents side barely noticable due to its speed. many have died from this technique even not knowing what hit them.
