Fishing and Mining Balance:
Fishing and Mining now cap at 120 skill.
Fishing pool remains broad at high skill (no junk at cap), improving weekly contest competitiveness.
Team Improvements:
Team EXP and gold sharing now properly splits rewards among non-pet teammates.
Teammates receive clear messages like: Team share: Shane grants you 21 experience points and 7 gold.
Fixed 'not in fight' issues related to teaming and skill usage.
Team chat red dot notifications improved.
Combat Quality of Life:
New Potion button in fights uses the strongest healing potion first (Major, Greater, Healing, Minor, Weak).
New scrollable Combat tab added. When a fight starts, BARP switches you to Combat automatically.
Progression:
Stat EXP curve rebuilt for smoother progression and a proper cap at 120 (relics can exceed 120).
Charisma now affects buy and sell prices via a new 'Silver Tongue' value, capped at 15 percent.
Crafting Additions:
Rings added to Armorsmith and Weaponsmith crafting menus.
Crafting rings requires a Relic of Attack or Relic of Defense (monster drops).
New Feature:
Kill Tracker added to the Stats screen, showing monster kill counts and possible drops. Unfound drops appear as blue question marks.
Supporter and Profile:
Monthly Supporter option added ($3.99 per month) with ad removal, gold name color, cosmetic login and logout messages, and a small 5 percent boost to combat XP, gold, and item drops.
New WHO title suffix option added in Home character edit. Some suffixes are supporter-only.
Community:
Posted a Happy Holidays and Happy New Year message to Travelers.

Service Notes:
Resolved an edge case with 2x XP weekend timing when Friday lands in the prior month.
Brief outage due to hosting provider issues, then service restored and monitored.
Chat System Overhaul:
Chat rebuilt into true multi-channel tabs: Main, Team, Trade, Clan, Tell, and combined RP/Emote.
Red notification dots added to tabs when new messages arrive, and clear when you switch to that channel.
Commands from other channels no longer appear in Main.
Non-logged channels now keep scrollable history. Scrolling up locks the view for reading, scrolling back down resumes live updates.
Chat and Teamwork pages updated to match the new chat tabs and modern UI.
Clan Hall Launch:
Clans are live with a directory, petitions, and a clan bank.
Creating a clan costs 80,000 gold.
Clan powers added (changeable once per 24 hours), including bonuses for fishing, mining, monster gold, drops, forging, and healing.
Clan chat now links directly to your active clan, and Who list can show clan members online.
World Atmosphere and Audio:
70 minute in-game day cycle with smooth lighting transitions (dawn, day, dusk, night).
Time dial added to show position in the cycle.
Random rainstorms outdoors with animated rainfall and outdoor-only rain sound.
Caves now use fixed darker lighting and do not follow outdoor brightness. Players emit a small glow for visibility.
Music and SFX controls separated into independent sliders.
NPC Interaction Buttons:
Context buttons now appear on NPCs based on role (Buy, Sell, Train, Storage, Heal, Meditate, Join, Leave, Market, Remove).
Morlundir Cave System:
Morlundir cave system opened with stronger mobs, possible loot, and new music in Morlundir zones.
If anything looks odd after large updates, try Ctrl-F5 to clear cached files.

Server & Performance:
Backend optimizations improved overall speed and responsiveness during gameplay.
Adjusted map preloading to keep large zones responsive - the 'Wait Load' image may appear briefly but transitions are smoother overall.
Ongoing refinements to team sync and combat performance for better multiplayer stability.
Interface & Usability:
The left-side welcome message now includes useful gameplay tips such as how to use local and global chat.
The red Help button has been replaced with the Adventurer's Guide for clarity.
The Adventurer's Guide now contains a new section on Stats explaining each attribute and how Meditation works.
Fixed spell icons that were missing or misaligned.
Added cooldown images for Warrior skills - each now shows when it is ready again.
Guilds & Skills:
Martial Artist (Monk) Guild added in Sanctuary. Learn Focused Ki, Iron Flesh, and Kiai Ho under Brother Kelvin.
Necromancer Guild (The Ebon Circle) added in Hades. Master dark arts such as Grave Legion, Bone Shield, Revive, and Darkstalk.
Highland Barbarian Guild added in Lesalia, Morlundir Domain. Focused on physical power, rage-driven techniques, and endurance.
Psionic Guild introduced as a new advanced guild. Members of the Resonant Circle channel mental strength to damage and disrupt enemies through willpower-based techniques.
New Hand-to-Hand skill and weapon class added. Requires special two-handed hand-to-hand weapons.
Training NPCs updated to support Hand-to-Hand skill training up to level 40. Milos offers basic instruction.
Stamina (SP) system introduced. Physical and martial abilities now use SP instead of MP.
Crafting guilds rebalanced. Crafting failures now consume partial materials to make progress feel more meaningful.
Events:
Ping Bunny Invasion added. Occurs every 5 hours and lasts 30 minutes.
During invasions, all monsters transform into Ping Bunny versions of themselves and give +15% EXP.
AFK Mining Nodes added. These sparkling gold nodes allow up to 500 AFK swings per day.
AFK nodes have a lower success chance than regular mining and do not provide gold or skill gains. The daily limit resets at midnight server time.
Leaderboards:
Top 100 Leaderboards expanded to include Hand-to-Hand, Monk, Necromancer, Psionic, and Barbarian skills.
New dropdown menu added for easy switching between EXP, Gold, Crafting, and Skill leaderboards.
Internal leaderboard generator updated to support new skill types and cleaner formatting.
Character Creation & Account Management:
Character creation page improved for better name, password, and email validation.
Fixed overly strict checks that blocked valid character names and corrected email verification issues.
Fixed the blank white screen issue when changing email or password - system now clearly confirms 'Password changed' or 'Email changed'.
Added a Forgot Password button to the login page. Enter your character name to receive a password reset link by email.
Character Display:
Equipment panel updated to correctly display mannequins by race and gender.
Supported races: Human, Elf, Dwarf, Half-Elf, and Kender.
Supported genders: Male, Female, and Non-Binary (Luminous Spirit).
Male Human uses the original BARP mannequin. All mannequins now use a clean white background for better contrast.
Vendor & Inventory:
Vendor selling system modernized to support the expanded inventory structure.
Older vendor logic skipped some consumables and materials - all item types now appear correctly when selling.
Miscellaneous:
Fixed guild join and leave conditions for improved consistency between main and secondary guilds.
Server hardware upgraded with a new case for better cooling and airflow on the test server.
Minor bug fixes, formatting corrections, and internal cleanup across guild, leaderboard, and UI systems.

Music & UI:
Background music now defaults to 25% volume on first login (saves your preference after that).
Help button has been renamed to Adventurer's Guide for clarity.
All menu options now glow on mouse hover.
Inventory now features tabbed categories for easier management.
Mail System:
Mail button now glows if you have unread messages. Players are reminded on login and checked again every 5 minutes.
Added ability to send multiple of the same item in a single mail by specifying a quantity.
Mail form has been made more intuitive with item names and quantities, instead of raw IDs.
Marketplace:
Stackable items (potions, food, drinks, crafting mats, bandages) can now be listed in x1, x10, x20, or x50 amounts.
Purchases arrive via in-game mail - stack purchases are bundled into one mail.
Gold from all sales is mailed to the seller.
Listings auto-expire after 7 days, with items returned by mail.
Morlundir Domain:
Morlundir reopened for exploration (still expanding with a cave system, docks, and another town in progress).
Monsters across BARP, Hades, and Morlundir now have a chance to drop relics.
Monster balancing continues based on player feedback.
Leaderboards:
Inactive players (30+ days) are now removed automatically from EXP, Skills, and Gold leaderboards.
Active players reappear the next time they log in and play.
Pets:
God-Touched weapons retired from the shop - existing ones remain with their owners.
New Pet Companions available: Cat, Dog, Pet Rock, Slime, Bird, Skeleton.
Pets can be given custom names and appear on the party menu alongside your character.
Bug Fixes & Performance:
Fixed a bug where attempting to buy with insufficient gold caused a silent crash.
Improved movement/loading across the world map for smoother exploration (slightly longer load times may occur when first entering a new area).
